Do you like trivia games and enjoy learning about livestock including horses, beef, swine, meat goats and/or sheep? If you answered yes, you should consider joining one of the 2024 Roseau County 4-H Project Bowl teams! We are reaching out for more team members!
What is project bowl? It is a team, knowledge-based trivia competition put on by Minnesota 4-H for youth in grades 3+ (Similar to Knowledge Bowl). If participation allows, we can have a junior and senior team. Check out the state website for more information.
Dates to consider:
- Project Bowl Kick Off Practices - Horse Project Bowl Kick Off Practice is this Monday, January 8, at 6:00 p.m. at Gene's in Roseau in the back room (use back entrance). The General Livestock Project Bowl Kick Off Practice is Sunday, January 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the Roseau Courthouse in the Boardroom.
- The 12th Annual Northern MN 4-H Project Bowl Invitational in Crookston (optional for team) - Saturday, February 10 at 9:30 a.m. at the University of Minnesota Crookston.
- Regional Competition – Saturday, March 16 - Bemidji (Bemidji High School) and Redwood Falls (Redwood Falls High School).
- State Competition (pending regional results) – is Saturday, April 6, 2024 in Sauk Rapids, MN.
