Entry Form Deadline: Monday, July 22, 2024 – 5 pm (Central Time)

Projects must arrive at Wisconsin State Fair by Tuesday, July 23, 2024; 10 am-3 pm (Central Time)

We can’t wait to see your Judge’s Favorite Award winners from your County or District Fair at the upcoming Wisconsin State Fair!

Updates and Reminders for 2024:

Age range: 8 to 19 years old (as of January 1, 2024).
The Judge’s Favorite Award is the only way a youth exhibit can advance to Wisconsin State Fair to compete for best youth exhibits in the Badger State along with epic bragging rights and prize money.
Every judge gets to select one Judge’s Favorite project from each department they judge per day.
County Fair/District Fairs which fall during or after the entry deadline of July 22, 2024 can be displayed at the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair

The Youth Exhibits competition features the following divisions:

Cultural Arts: Drawing
Cultural Arts: Jewelry/Fiber
Cultural Arts: Mixed Media
Cultural Arts: Painting
Cultural Arts: Sculpture
Cultural Arts: Any Other
Education & School Exhibits
Electricity
Family & Child Development
Health, Social & Political Sciences
Home Furnishings/Environment
Knitting & Crocheting
Mechanical Projects
Natural Sciences (No Perishables)
Photography, Black & White (No Videos)
Photography, Color (No Videos)

Youth Leadership

The following projects are not eligible: perishable projects, livestock, culinary, decorated cakes, horticulture, garden exhibits, flower arrangements, honey or maple syrup.

Projects must be under 5 feet high, 5 feet long and 5 feet wide and must be family friendly.

County Fair Judge’s Favorite award: The Judge’s Favorite award is given to County Fair project exhibits of outstanding quality. Judge’s Favorite award-winners are eligible to advance to Wisconsin State Fair with no entry fees (delivery and pick up of exhibits is the responsibility of the exhibitor).
